Charity Computers commenced operations in 2001 with a vision to bridge the digital providing access to low cost IT equipment and ensuing support.
Charity Computers was founded by people who saw a need in the market place to look after those who could not afford IT sales and support.
Charity Computers began its training division by offering "work for the dole" placements under and Australian Government Scheme. This program placed long term unemployed in Charity Computers where they were given real skills in IT to be able to be placed back into the workforce.
The training arm of the business grew over time to include students from a wide variety of backgrounds. Offerings increased from basic IT training to a certificate II - IV in IT. Trainees now graduate from Charity Computers ready to be deployed straight into the workforce.
